Telephones
|
The studios are served by its own digital Index telephone system. The offices are connected using CAT 5 cabling, allowing easy relocation around the building if required. Clients can choose their own DDI from a dedicated list of numbers. This can then be programmed in various ways to suit individual needs; | ||||||||||

• Calls answered at reception in a company name where they can either be put through to the office, alternative number, or a message can be taken as instructed by the client. • Calls go direct to your office, with the easily activated option of diverting to another number or switchboard should you need to leave your office unattended. • Out of office hours, the calls can be routed to an alternative destination of your specification. Digital display handsets with their own DDI (which allow caller indentification), voicemail facility (which can be accessed remotely), and various other functions, are provided at a cost of £30 per month per unit. There are engineer programming costs for initial set-up of call routing and any further changes or deletion. These are charged according to the amount of programming required, but are usually around £75. | |||||||||||

Costs

Calls are typically rated at British Telecom business rates, and are charged on a per minute basis. An itemised bill is available at the end of each month if required. We ask for payment to be received within 7 working days. All charges are subject to VAT.A full tariff is available on request, but illustrative current rates are:

Internet
|
Our telephone system allows access to the internet using your own analogue modem, or alternatively, we provide a dedicated broadband facility at speeds up to 4mbs. We have a software server appliance that provides management for business centres. Our support allows on-line monitoring of all connections and on-site testing for faults. Current costs are based on the following: | ||||||||||

Entry level service – single user connection, allowing 1-2Gb per month (equivalent to an ADSL service but with the benefits of the Medusa system), charged at £35 per month Standard level – essentially the share of a leased circuit, will be charged per user per month at £35 + an excess charge of £10 per Gb (over the allowance of 2Gb per month Premium service – charged on a per Mbps basis according to usage. If you stay within the allowance, you are charged at the standard rate per workstation (£35) but if you use over the allowance, you are charged at the premium rate of £40 per workstation Wider or dedicated bandwidth is also available by arrangement at tailored costs. |
